IndustriesRetail & e-commerce

Technology for retail and e-commerce brands.

We connect the shop floor and the online store: Shopify storefronts, retail POS, one inventory across every channel, local and international payments, and marketing that is measured on sales.

Retail & e-commerce

A normal day today

A customer DMs on Instagram for the last pair in size 40. Ten minutes later it sells in the shop. Yesterday’s WhatsApp order was never packed because it sat in a staff member’s personal chat. The rider calls the customer three times for directions, and the payment gets sorted out at the door.

The problem

What we usually find.

  • 01Online and in-store stock that never match
  • 02Checkout that does not support how local customers pay
  • 03Slow, template-looking storefronts
  • 04Ad spend with no link to actual sales

Retail & e-commerce

Shop, website and WhatsApp selling from one stock count.

What we build for retail & e-commerce

Four projects that pay back first.

  1. 1

One stock count for shop, site and socials

The shop till, the online store and orders from Instagram and WhatsApp all draw on one stock figure. Sell the last one anywhere and it stops showing everywhere. Reorders come from real sales, not guesswork.

  2. 2

An online store customers pay in

A fast Shopify store in your brand where customers pay by M-Pesa or card at checkout, instead of messaging to arrange payment. Orders arrive paid, with the delivery address, ready to pack.

  3. 3

    WhatsApp orders and delivery updates

Customers order and ask questions on one business WhatsApp number your whole team answers from. When a parcel leaves with the rider, the customer gets an update, so fewer calls ask where it is.

  4. 4

Product content and ads that sell

Clean product shots and short reels from one shoot, used on the store, Instagram and TikTok. Campaigns are tracked to actual orders, so you know which post paid for itself and which to stop.

What changes

  • 01The same stock figure in every channel
  • 02Online orders arrive paid and addressed
  • 03Fewer calls asking where an order is
  • 04Ad spend tied to real sales

Starting out

Most retailers begin by putting the shop and the online store on one stock list, working with the owner and whoever runs stock. The first thing live is usually the store with M-Pesa at checkout. WhatsApp orders, rider updates and campaigns follow once stock holds steady.

Questions

What retail & e-commerce ask us.

We already sell on Instagram. Why do we need a store?

Instagram brings people in, but orders get lost in DMs and payment is chased by hand. A store gives every post a place to buy, with stock and payment handled.

Do we have to replace our till?

Not always. If your current POS can connect, the store syncs with it. If it cannot, QuickTap POS runs the shop floor and shares one stock list with the store.

Can you move us from our current platform?

Yes. Products and customers are moved across and checked with you before the switch, so the shop keeps trading while the new store gets ready.
