1. Who we are

QuickTap is a Kenya-based business selling NFC physical products and digital hosting services. References to "QuickTap", "we", "us", or "our" in these terms refer to this business. You can reach us via WhatsApp at +254 700 511 135 or email at quicktapqt@gmail.com.

2. Products and services

QuickTap offers:

• /Physical NFC products - stands, business cards, and handheld POS devices, available in standard and custom configurations.
• /Web development - custom website and web app design and development, including brand identity, quoted per project.
• /Consultancy - data, analytics, and AI consulting, quoted per engagement.

Product images and descriptions on our site are for illustration purposes. Actual products may vary slightly, particularly for custom orders.

3. Ordering and quotes

Orders are placed via WhatsApp or email. There is no automated checkout - every order begins with a conversation so we can confirm specifications, quantity, and pricing before any payment is made.

• /A quote is not a binding contract until both parties confirm the order in writing (via WhatsApp or email) and any required deposit is received.
• /Custom and personalised items (engraved cards, branded stands) require a deposit before production begins.
• /We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.

4. Pricing and currency

All prices for physical products are quoted in Kenyan Shillings (KES) unless otherwise stated. Web development and consultancy work is quoted per project. Prices may change without prior notice, but any agreed quote is honoured for the agreed period.

5. Payment

Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of your order. For custom orders, a deposit (typically 50%) is required upfront, with the balance due before delivery or collection. Full payment is required for standard stock items before dispatch.

6. Delivery

Delivery timelines and costs are confirmed at the time of order and depend on your location and the type of product. Standard items ship faster than custom orders. QuickTap is not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers or circumstances beyond our control. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use QuickTap products or services for any unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purpose, including but not limited to:

• /Fraud, impersonation, or phishing.
• /Distribution of malware or harmful content via NFC links.
• /Any activity that violates applicable Kenyan law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate digital services if we become aware of misuse.

8. Intellectual property

All content on the QuickTap website - including text, images, designs, and code - is owned by QuickTap or its licensors and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission. Custom work we produce for you (website designs, branded materials) belongs to you upon final payment, unless otherwise agreed.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law, QuickTap is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our products or services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to that claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
